Deborah Turbeville is the subject of two exhibitions in Toronto, Canada, opening January 2024. In partnership with MUUS Collection, Stephen Bulger Gallery presents Deborah Turbeville: Assemblage, dedicated to Turbeville’s unique handmade collages. The exhibition opens January 20 and runs until March 2nd.
Curated by Collections Curator and Research Centre Manager Denise Birkhofer, The Image Centre presents a survey exhibition of Turbeville’s work, titled Otherworldly: Deborah Turbeville Photographs, opening January 16 and running until April 6. Nathalie Herschdorfer, curator of Deborah Turbeville: Photocollage, comes to The Image Centre on March 21 to deliver a lecture on Turbeville’s life and work.
